HLV Mission Fanfiction Prologue

Hidden Lotsu Village - Mission Fic
Prologue

The moon light was the only source of light in the forest around the Village Hidden on the Lotsu, four shadows leap from tree to tree. Pulling back her hood stood the Pink haired ANBU agent Miki Haruka leading the small group, placing her hand up the other three stopped. Each pulling their own hoods down as they took cover from the rain under a large cherry tree in the clearing they had just entered. The green haired Chunin Hotari Taiyou stepped up.

"Miki why did you call us out here at this hour?" she asked.

"The Hasukage asked me to gather up a team fast, someone broke into the vault that holds the forbidden seals, jutsus, and information that should not be seen outside the village. One man managed to get in and steal a single scroll." Miki answered as she slowly pulled the glove off of her hand revealing the Bassui Seal. "He stole the Bassui from my clan."
"Then lets not waste time." The lavender hair Miya Maiko mumbled. "I'm sure we all have better things to do then go on a man hunt, so lets find this man, kick his ass, and get back the Bassui."

The only male member of the team Genji Komine placed his hand on Miya's shoulder, "Miya we can't just rush this, we don't know where he went plus we don't know what he can do."

Miki spoke up, "Genji is right we only know that the person was a male and heading this way."

Hotari placed her hand on the ground and began to look for any signs that the man ran through this way.  After a minute she managed to find a fresh foot print in the mud from the rain. "This way."

They all pulled their hoods back up as they dashed off into the rain and back into the forest. They ran on the ground following the small trace of the trail the man left. The rain began to pick up causing it to get harder to see, soon each member of the squad had lost track of the others.
